From the Assembly web site:
ASSEMBLY facilitates networking between artists and their like-minded peers and encourages collaboration to inspire new creative directions. We curate unconventional shows in unique venues to display our members work in a fresh and interactive format.
This video shows an art show in a house based around stenciling, primarily using spraypaint. I’ve not really heard too much about Assembly, but the guy in the video says they got 800 people out to an event. These are the kinds of groups I would like to see more from, and I hope we hear from them again soon.
Their website also says they have weekly meetings Mondays at 9PM at Tanqueray’s, which is at the corner of Pine and Orange downtown.
As always, send your videos and links to liberatr [at] gmail dot com.
