Dodger – Live Aug. 11th. Post*Records Orlando, FL.

Ah, the infamous Orlando record label, Post*Records. They seem to specialize “indie rock”, if such a category really exists. It’s like saying “alternative” in the 90’s – it means, not pop, not rock – and in this case, not quite country either. Dodger is an interesting rock band in that they feature a violin/trumpet player atop sweet vocals. This video also features my friend Jeff on drums, AKA Mumpsy. At this exact moment, the Dodger website appears to be having some problems, so you might want to check out their MySpace instead.
For all of you curious Dodger fans out there, you’ll be pleased to know that this video features 4 live tunes by the group, titled as follows:
- Carbon Copper Mines and Wells, Inc.
- I’m Not There
- US Cargo (Sorry I’m so Extreme Sometimes)
- Find Another Way
The whole thing takes about 13 minutes, and appears to take place in an empty lot in an urban-ish part of town. If anyone knows where this was filmed, I’d love if you left a comment. Also, if you want to share a specific video here, please email all submissions to liberatr [at] gmail dot com.
