This video is here because it is the first example I have seen of a piece of real estate for sale being represented on YouTube. Now maybe this sort of thing happens all the time, but in searching for other Orlando videos I came across this and realised what a genius idea it was. Kudos to the guy who vlogged in this way first, and kudos to Shaun McLane for doing it in Orlando.
If you’re curious where this house is, check Google Maps. East Orlando is pretty nice, at least in my experience.

We featured Feedbag Films once before for their Current TV video. I found this clip on their MySpace blog. The Feedbag guys have been working on a documentary about the poetry open mic at Will’s Pub called SPEAKEASY. These are obviously just some deleted scenes, but still worth checking out. If you forget about the crappy audio because of the crappy MySpace video hosting, this is a good bit of filmmaking. If the deleted scenes look this good, the doc must be at least this nice.
Tod Caviness’ SPEAKEASY was the longest running poetry night in Orlando, but Will’s is closed now, and you hear people in this video (like Holly Riggs) talking about the event with such a sense of respect and a feeling that this is the end of an era in Orlando, or the start of a new one.
What are your thoughts? Email liberatr [at] gmail dot com, leave a comment, send me a video or a link to another video you’d like to see. Record a video and post it to YouTube if you like.
In this crazy hurricane we call Internet Video, I get a jones for finding things that were made in my backyard. I hope these little blogs can bring a bit of that joy to you, and maybe help you make a new friend. It's the least I can do.
