Feedbag Films: Vital Signs

I was about to post a different clip from this group, but then I noticed that they got a piece greenlighted for Current TV a few months back. Eureka! An Orlando Video story of success. No, this blog didn’t exist back then, but what I mean is we are showcasing the success. The speaker in this clip is none other than Tod Caviness, long-time host of Speakeasy, “*Almost Every Tuesday” at Will’s Pub.

From Feedbag Films’ MySpace:

Feedbag Films operates under what we like to call Open Source Filmmaking. Wait, it’s not as stupid as it sounds. While researching some locally made short films, I found a tendency for the amateur filmmakers to be tight-lipped about their production, suspiciously sneaky about their methods, and then finally, charging people to see their work. We here at the Feedbag will not only drown you in the sordid details of our projects, but then we’ll also lend a hand to any cracker with a camera who wants to film paint drying. And our movies will be free, minus the cost of DVD and label, if applicable.

I’m not sure exactly how they plan to pay the bills, what with giving away the films, but I guess I am in the same pot as them right now. Let’s keep the free content rolling by you guys sending me your videos at liberatr [at] gmail dot com.
